<p>Is a person like an uncle or aunt who spent 10+ years studying at Penn considered a legacy?</p>
<p>From the Penn website:</p>
<p>“What is a legacy?
Children and grandchildren of all University of Pennsylvania degree recipients are considered legacies during the undergraduate admissions process.”</p>
<p>So, technically, no. One might be able to work the connection into the “Why Penn?” essay, however.</p>
