Hi, so I’m an upcoming transfer hoping to apply next fall but I noticed that cpp offers winter transfers for non-impacted majors. I want to major in accounting which is impacted so I must wait for fall to apply. But econ isn’t impacted so I’m allowed to transfer during winter which would speed up my graduation date. I heard from others that you can switch majors after a quarter at cpp so that you have a cpp gpa and also that you meet the major’s requirements. The accounting departments requirements is just a 2.0 and I also already finished the lower division requirements for both majors. So is this a legit strategy to get a head start?
