I want to go into Biomedical engineering and continue through PhD(at the current moment). Is this a good school to go to? I’m also very interested in research
The biomedical engineering department has some very good faculty. Many of their graduates continue on to graduate school at other universities. Do you have some specific questions that can be answered? Answering your question is more subjective and objective and really depends on the responder’s bias. As a faculty member at Illinois tech, I believe the the education that students get is quite good, both in my department (physics) and in other departments, particularly in the College of Engineering.
