is this a rigorous senior year schedule for top tier schools?

I'm taking AP Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Euro, AP Bio, AP Human Geo, French honors, and a philosophy class. I know AP Human Geo and AP Euro are NOT that rigorous but I am planning on majoring in economics or political science (going the liberal arts route) so I don't find it necessary to take difficult AP sciences like AP chem or AP physics. Also, I have limited options because I have basically taken all the APs that I could ( AP gov, APUSH, APLAC, AP calc ab, APES) Is this a rigorous schedule for top tier colleges like Northwestern, Barnard, NYU Stern, UC Berkeley, Tufts, Williams, etc?

Only two schools for which I would see a concern for maintaining a rigorous schedule are Northwestern and Williams. If taking 5 AP’s is considered rigorous for senior year, then you would be fine.

So… you’re saying my schedule is fine for Northwestern and Williams? Or that I need more APs?

i do not think you should need more ap classes. 5 ap classes is pretty impressive

Calm yourself. You are fine. Your schedule looks amazing. I don’t know about your school but Euro is very rigorous at mine.

But are my ap classes rigorous enough for the schools listed above? Or would I be better off switching AP Human geo for AP physics?

switch? its nearly may how could you rearrage your schedule with the year almost done? and rest assured this schedule is plenty rigorus enough.

Schedule is rigorous, although again you need to take into account what the top students in your grade are taking. You also need to measure how difficult your expected workload would be (some AP’s like Physics are time guzzlers, others are light, depending on your school) against how much time you want to spend on EC’s and most importantly, college applications. I took 6 AP’s this year and it was extremely stressful balancing it with a job that took up 3 hours every weekday and write essays during college app season.
