Okay,okay,okay.....Harvard sent me another viewbook? Why would they do that? I heard that many other people on CC got a viewbook but why would they send another to many other EA applicants? Who else got a view book? Any ideas over the purpose.

Well, I'm not really a superstar. I don't have a 2400, no major awards, etc. Those are generally the people they recruit. I'm just an average white boy. Meh, I'll see how I fair next week.

and yeah guys, dont get to excited. its nothing. they are just filling your heads with propoganda/advertising to convince you to come if you do get accepted. well, i guess we'll see next week. good luck to yall.

im not going to argue, just sit for a minute and think about how ridiculously pathetic your idea is....no offense...i dont think harvard has too much trouble retaining those they accept...not to mention, now is the time they send out all their paper apps...and i know the viewbook has the app, so two different parts of the admissions office probably havent communicated, and you're on a prospective student list you registered for and they're automatically sending you the viewbook

aww, urm is upset cuz of my posts on his thread....

seriously dude, im not the one who lies about being the star of my school's quiz bowl team and leading admissions committee members to believe helping my brother on his homework counts as volunteer tutor hours...

if anyone doesnt belong at harvard, it's u, you're a complete disgrace

I think it's just a matter of having signed up to receive stuff. I never received a paper app in the mail or a viewbook because I never asked for one. You're on their mailing list, that's all.

i just got another viewbook today too; i doubt it means anything, but it's always nice to think so...also harvard called my gc on friday asking if i sent my nov. satii scores. they did get them the next day, but im thinking they wouldn't have called to ask if they had already rejected me right? or is this just wishful thinking?

well you live in hawaii, so im assuming that mail takes a hell of alot longer to get there...so no worries, besides, as an earlier poster said, it's probably that we got on two mailing lists by accident, that's all.

Actually, it doesn't take that long for mail to get to Hawaii since it technically isn't "international" and doesn't have multiple screenings through two postal services, it doesn't take that long. At most, a day or two more (during busy seasons).

Though, you're in Hawaii... I wouldn't be surprised if you got in on geographic diversity. There's only about 1.5 million people there, and most apply to the HU school system.
