So to keep it brief the tier of school I’m looking at is around Georgetown, NYU, George Washington University, and other major city political schools that are ranked respectively well. I’m going to be a senior next year and I’m wondering what my schedule looks like to other ambitious students to see how it stacks up.
Senior Year:
AP: English Literature
AP: French Language (my 6th year of french, 2nd time taking AP course, as is highest level of french offered at school)
AP: US Government and Politics
AP: Environmental Science
AP: Physics B/ AP: Physics 2 (Online)
High School Calculus (A little more advanced than AP with no weighted credit covers multivariate and def equations)
Honors Journalism 3rd year (Staff Editor and co curricular with Quill and Scroll National Honor Society)
Honors Economics (Online)
I feel like this is the hardest schedule I *can take, however, the most rigorous at my school would be AP: Economics (Micro and Macro Full Year course Online), and AP: Calculus BC subbed in. (However, I’m kind of struggling in AP: Calc AB and not sure if BC will go so well). Also my school requires 7 classes and I’m taking an extra class AP: Physics which isn’t required or offerred which I hope looks well, but with a study hall meaning that I’m taking 6 academic classes and will have 1 block to do my 2 online classes next year. Overall, I’m just looking for your opinions if my schedule is on track for the schools I’m looking at and if it will be significantly advantageous to increase the difficulty a bit with the potential of burning out. Thank you again for your responses.
