I am applying to Wharton ED next fall, probably in October. I am also applying to University of Michigan-Ann Arbor RD, however, UMich has rolling decisions (in other words I shall be informed of my decision around 3-4 weeks after I submit it, whenever it may be). So, if I were to submit my regular decision application to UMich in October as well, so that I could be known if I got in, in November, would it generally be allowed/would it clash with the ED policies of other schools, particularly Wharton?

You are fine. Wharton ED allows you to apply RD to any school even rolling.

Alright, thanks a lot mate.

You can apply early to any other school as long as it’s nonbinding. You just have to decline the offers of admission you’ve received and withdraw all pending applications if you get in ED.

^ Actually, you can’t apply early to any other school as long as it’s nonbinding if one of the schools you are applying to is SCEA. This is nonbinding, yet you cannot apply to any other school under an early program. You can apply anywhere you want regular decision and the actual date you submit your app doesn’t matter.
