<p>is my essay topic any good be honest?
ok so im really stumpted for what to write for my common app essay.</p>

<p>i was thinking for the topic of your choice i can write about how my economic situation at home hasnt been the best and i was kind of bitter about it for a while. but after voulenteering (specifically at a clothing drive for the homeless/poor) ive realized people have it much worse then me and ive realized even though my economic life isnt perfect i still have the tools to make a difference in my community.</p>

be honest because i am so lost haha and any tips would help</p>

<p>by the way this wont be going to any ivies, but i will be sending my apps to competitive schools i.e, BC BU NYU Villanova Fordham etc</p>

<p>its a bit cliche… but as long as its well written and you put a bit of yourself into it, it should be fine</p>

i really cant think of anything else to write. i know they say to write about a “slice of your life” but i dont have too many interesting “slices” to choose</p>

<p>It doesn’t have to be an interesting “slice,” but the way you write it has to be interesting.</p>

<p>All of my essays are about the most mundane things you could think of (sports, volunteering, science/engineering team…) but I think that the way I wrote them really shows who I am and how I’ve grown.</p>
