Is this appropriate/acceptable???

I am a high school student looking for an internship at a law-firm or a legal workplace. I called some law-firms and they told me to "send in" my resume - I was wondering if it is advisable to walk-in to the office and hand in my resume, or if it is better to mail it in. I was thinking if I actually show up at their office, that shows determination. Then again, it could seem a little annoying, I guess.

Also, what is the general dress code for high school interns at a local law-firm? The whole 9? or would a buttoned shirt and slacks be OK?

bumppppppp

If its far away, just snail mail it along with a cover letter. Law firms is semi casual to full business. Check with the individual firm.

Just send it in. All you’re likely to get for your hand delivery is an awkward look from a receptionist. As the other poster said, attire ranges from jeans and polos to shirt and tie depending on the firm, the day of the week, and the type of law they practice.

What should I include in a cover letter - also, what if the law firm is like 3 minutes away from my house? Should I still send it in via mail??

I would. Google how to write a cover letter.
