Does it look bad to have 2 study periods in one day? My school has 7 periods a day, and now my father has forced the school to give me a study, and to not take Law and Society elective anymore. Basicall this has been my course list for this year

Physics Honors
Orchestra Honors
Russian Literature Honors then Writing Workshop Honors this sememster
Senior Study
Sociology Honors then once that ended last semester, I started to Law and Society Honors last week, but now I changed to a study period
Spanish 5 Honors
Precalculus

How bad does this look to college? I would hate for the college to think I am lazy for taking two study periods, but my father literally forced this upon me. What should I do?

I honestly don’t think it should be too much of a problem. While having two study halls is not the most ideal situation, you are taking honors classes and hopefully have been enrolled in 4 years of math, science, social studies, and language arts. At this point, I wouldn’t worry about it. Hope everything works out well!

Don’t worry about it. I started taking study halls in my junior year. Then senior year I had two study halls a day per semester.
As long as your other courses are rigorous.

But is this a bad course load in general for wellesley? (particularly senior year?)

No, and really, stop worrying about it.
Your courses sound far more interesting than mine ever were. There isn’t a set course load that you must take your senior year. There really isn’t a set course load for any college in general. As long as you have the basic requirements down and demonstrate continued interest in academics by not taking an easy way out your senior year, you’re fine.
