Is this college list good based on my stats? Any insight is extremely appreciated!:)

So I am currently a high school senior like many seniors am starting to freak out a little about college. Could anybody give me feedback on the schools I plan on applying to and if I should remove/add some schools to my list. I am unsure of what I want to study and am open to going to both a big state school or a small private liberal arts school. Financial aid will play a role in my decision but just a small one. Thank you to any kind stranger who reads these stats and answers you have no idea how much it means to me:)

State of Residence: Illinois

Type of High School: A well known public suburban high school

ACT: 30 super score-31 (I am retaking it in December to try and get my score up to a 32)

Class Rank: 18/410

Classes: I have taken every honors class available to me since freshman year, 3 years of french and also AP Micro/Macro, APUSH, AP Lit, AP Psych, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Lang, and AP Bio. I have gotten a B+ in Honors Pre-Calc both semesters a B+ in Honors Chemistry for one semester and a B+ in AP Calc AB for one semester. Otherwise my grades are A/A-

Extra Curricular’s: 4 years: varsity tennis, speech team, class officer for student government, co-president of a club promoting mental health awareness, president/founder of the schools ski and snowboard club, over 200 volunteer hours from volunteering at the hospital, I babysit and nanny, I had a job for the last two summers working at an ice cream shop.

Reach Schools I’m applying to:
University of Notre Dame
University of Miami-(applied early action)
Vanderbilt University
Washington University in St. Louis

Most Likely to get in schools:
Rhodes College
University of Wisconsin-Madison-(applied early action)

Safety Schools:
Bradley University (I got accepted w/ the presidential scholarship)
Loyola University (I got accepted w/ the presidential scholarship)
Saint Louis University
Saint Mary’s College by Notre Dame

Again THANK YOU so much for reading this and I am sending positive thoughts towards anybody who replies:)

I think that your list has a lot of realistic possibilities, and your record is excellent. If you have already been accepted by two of your safety schools, do you need the other two? Would you go to Saint Louis or Saint Mary’s instead of Loyola? If you are admitted to your early action schools, then you might cross off others on your list that do not interest you as much… In terms of the freak-out factor, at this point you should focus on what you can control (preparing your applications) and not worry about those things outside of your control.

Your list is balanced. I am sure you will get into several schools. Your ACT score won’t work in your favor at your reach schools. But why is U of Miami a reach? Seems like a solid match to me.

@Lindagaf She may be counting Miami as a reach because her 31 is just below the 75th percentile of 32. I agree with you that it seems like a match but I think the OP is being a little conservative.

OP-With your record you are likely to have some choices. I think you have a solid list. Your academic record is full of rigor, you have good grades, you have a diverse set of non academic interests. Stop freaking out and enjoy your senior year with your high school friends. You have already been accepted to college.

I would consider Miami a match rather than a reach. I predict you will get in EA. Good luck!
