Hi, I've been on this forum for a while and usually I am lucky enough to find all the answers to my questions... but just to make sure I decided to make a new thread.

Is this considered double depositing?

I was accepted as a Spring transfer student to College 1. Since I am a Spring transfer, I wanted to make sure I get housing so I sent in my enrollment deposit + housing deposit.

2 weeks later, I was accepted into College 2 (My 1st choice). I didn't think my application went through because I did not get any emails or mails (moved recently). I sent an email to College 1 to withdraw my application 2 days ago. Am I allowed to pay my enrollment fee for College 2, now? Or is this considered double depositing? I filled out the Common App for both colleges.

No. It is more like accepting admission at one place, and then getting off a waitlist somewhere else. Pay the fees for College 2. If you don’t get a confirmation from College 1 that they got your “Thanks but I’ve changed my mind.” email, it would be a kindness to give them a quick phone call.

It’s OK to pay the enrollment fee now at College 2 because College 1 has received the information and is processing everything. By the time College 2 processes your check or e-payment, everything will probably be long finished at College 1.

Really, don’t worry about this. A Double-Deposit situation is when a student deliberately chooses to hold spots open at more than one school. That is not what you are doing.
