Is this considered "slacking off"?

My school is on the block schedule (4 classes fall, 4 spring).
My sched for the fall was:
AP Gov't
AP ENG Lit
Adv. Chem (second level...basically AP chem year-long)
Spanish 4
marching band

My spring schedule [as of now]
AP spanish 5
AP Chemistry
AP Calc AB
---free/teacher helper---

*If I drop Spanish 5 and don't fill the hole, do you think I would be considered slacking off? * I have taken the most rigorous courses available, and I'm number 3 in my class. #1 and #2 both had a free period last semester and this, so they will have 6 classes total.

I've always wanted to take a physics class, but it never fit into my schedule [small school...], and I was thinking of self-studying Physics B during my free first period and taking the AP test, just for fun and to get a little background before I head off to college. I know I'll have to inform colleges of my decision to drop Spanish, but would this be grounds to deny me admission [after I've already been accepted/denied]?

I applied to UNC and NC State (instate) with a 2040 SAT and 3.97 (uw), 4.78 (w) GPA to bring other stuff into the picture. I don't plan to slack off with grades the spring semester; I'll actually be motivated because it's two classes I thoroughly enjoy.

I don’t think that would be slacking off. You should be fine.
