Is this considered "wasting summer"?

No not in the slightest bit, that’s actually making good use of it

@OP: I added up a count of 2 weeks. At most, with rehearsals included, it’s one month out of your vacation. I’m assuming you enjoy musical theater. Your not wasting it.

I definitely do other things, including volunteering at my church’s vacation bible school. I wasn’t too clear. Thanks for the feedback, folks!

Yikes, why did this thread become so ridiculous? Trollin’ on the river…

Quoted for truth.

OP- just doing things with your church and family really is not enough for a competitive college. Use the rest of your summer for commitments that go beyond this.

^I’ll keep that in mind. I wouldn’t say that I’m looking at “competitive” schools, but my grades aren’t the best, so I’ll be doing things that I enjoy but will also benefit my apps.

Lol PurePhysics, nobody cares. I could probably take AP calc too if it was offered. Just because you’re offered something early isn’t comparing intelligence levels.

You’re in middle school, everything you did was a waste. Colleges don’t care about what you do in middle school.
