<p>writing my application essay for the SFS. I want to work for the a specific department within the government, and SFS is the preeminent school to attend for that. There are many alums I admire who worked in the exact field I am interested in. I need some ideas on what I would say in my essay please! </p>

<p>I cant just say....I want to attend SFS because I want to work in government and many of my role models have attended SFS and I want to continue the tradition. Where could I go with this?</p>

<p>Do some research…fins out as much as you can about a couple fo alums and identify strong traits of theirs with yours…maybe only focus on one person…or write it like you were having a conversation over lunch with that person…I don’t know…just try and know as much as you can but in the end, make it about you and not what you admire in someone else.</p>
