You might want to opt for having a life and/or sleep instead. Unless you’re aiming for Harvard (hell, even if you are), I don’t see the point. Nobody’s going to care how many AP classes and tests you took five years from now.

you obviously care way too much about aps. i hate to break it to you, but my college counselor said they do not play a central role in college admissions and good colleges rarely give you credit for them. If i was an admissions officer i would note two things: 1. you must go to an easy school to take all of those AP classes 2. you chose AB calc as opposed to BC…did you do that so you could cram in another AP or are you just not up to the hard classes? In the end, self-studying for APs (especially Art 2d) will make you look more like a suck-up than a committed student.

its pretty lame to post this, it makes you seem a bit like a braggart, especially when we have no clue where you go to school and if it is easy or hard academically.

I think you should take the really important AP’s - i.e. math, science and english
i think art is completely useless, and enviro really isn’t a “substantial” science for u to show colleges

I also think that 2 government exams are unnecessary, one is fine to show that you’re well rounded

but if u wanna go for it, then by all means do it :D

Why would you take so many APs senior year? Colleges like rigorous coursework, but a schedule full of APs is overdoing it. The admissions officer might have second thoughts about your intentions and your mental stability or something.

Looks like a slightly stronger form of my schedule for next year. I’d simply say that’s gonna be a lot of work. If you’re willing to do that, then go for it.

It’s good that you’re being ambitious, but think logically - don’t stress.
10 APs? Is that even necessary? I mean you’re probably a good student already as it is… 10 is just going to be too stressful - and for what purpose?
Even 5 is a good number.

AP Physical Ed. does not seem that entirely necessary.
Studying AP world by yourself will be… very hard.

Please consider taking less than 10 - for your own sake.

Its entirely possible, bit its not going to help you that much. If you go through with this, your going to lose a lot of sleep and have no life.

IMHO - No - not remotely. You are not going to sufficiently study for every single one of those exams and get a 5 on each of them. I know a guy who studied for 3 exams independent study and took a total of 5. Even HE said I will never do it again. And he went on to Princeton (ofc all 5s).

Colleges aren’t even going to see those scores, assuming you do well. Its not worth the time and effort and 90% of the credit probably won’t transfer - assuming you get in. My friends who got into ivies thought they would be sophomores with their terrific AP scores…Not remotely…

If you really want extra credits for college take CC courses! Do something, do anything else.
