Hello everyone, I am in my sophomore year currently, and in another 7 terms I will complete my 4 years. I am a Finance major right now and require 187 credits in total to graduate. I am already done with 74 credits with a GPA of 3.46. My concern arises here, I desperately want to do a double major in either Marketing or Business Economics, but I am not very sure if this would be beneficial for my future.

My dad owns a diamond business, but things are not going very great for us. Will double majoring be helpful for my future? I would love to continue my dad's business and he definitely has no problem with that.

If I choose Marketing as my second major, I would require another 8 terms in total with 20 credits each term (excluding summers). And if I consider Business Economics, it would take me another 7 terms (which means I will graduate in 4 years), with 20 credits each term (excluding summers). I know it is going to be excruciatingly tough but I am ready to face the torture if it is beneficial for me! :)

Therefore, should I go ahead and do a double major or just stick with Finance. And if its a double major which one should it be - Marketing or Business Economics? TBH, I am more fond of Marketing.

Thank you. :D
