Coming from cc, where you had a 2.4. it’s possible you’re overextending yourself. This is more than how interesting you’ll find those classes. What’s the first semester gpa? A hard courseload isn’t something to just brush off. CC has too many kids asking for advice on appealing their suspension- or worse. Please think this through.
That first fall schedule is really heavy. For your first semester why don’t you start with the standard 12 units at least to get a feel of what is ahead of you. College is not at all like HS, the stakes are higher and professors expect more.
Edited to add: I’m sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were coming straight out of HS. If you are coming from a CC and are a transfer, a four year does take some adjusting too (I know it did for me) but I still think you should stick to 12 units for your first semester as a junior. In my experience, taking on a heavy course load didn’t do me any favors. It takes a lot out of you.
I might be exempt from taking a language requirement due to my IEP. Also, I’ve changed my schedule around and is much smoother compared to the one I wrote. I’m taking 18 credits next semester, two courses are 4 credits.
