Is this enough for a good chance?

I just visited Princeton yday and decided that it is my first choice so if I do SCEA, will my chances increase?

But, first, what are my chances in the first place? lol
Indian Female, NY
GPA: 104.99 but taking 7 APs next year (and our school policy is if you get a 95+ average in an AP class, you get 1 point on your weighted gpa. unweighted is on a 100 pt scale which is 98.99 for me) I have taken 6 APs so far and all 5's (Euro, Psych, US History, English Lang, Statistics, Chemistry)

SAT: 770 CR, 740 M (i dont like it but I really dont want to take it again unless this really hurts me) 800 W so 2310 total (or 1510)

My ECs are weak but how weak?
Cross Country (9,10,11)
Spring Track (10)
Ecology Club(9, 10, 11, 12) - if I put 12, I plan on doing it this year
Mathletes (9, 10, 11, 12)
Homework Club (11, 12)- basically tutoring and mentoring for younger students
Tutoring for Alg2/Trig and Chem, some SAT- I tutor my friends so its separate
It's Academic (11, 12) -quiz bowl basically but I was also on a televised trivia show where a team of 4 from each school competes; we only made it to the second round though
Chess Club(11,12)- it was only started this year
Math Honor Society( 11, 12)
Foreign language Honor Society (10, 11, 12) -Treasurer
Science Honor Society (10, 11, 12)
National Honor Society (11, 12)- Vice President
Hospital Volunteering (already have 200, will have 250 hours)

The only awards I really have are departmental awards in school, will get Semifinalist for National Merit (230 in NY) and Ap Scholar(w/ distinction I think)

I realize I dont stand out but are my chances close to zero because of that? I appreciate any feedback so much!

you’re a strong candidate. as you said, not stellar. there are so many of you though. write compelling essays to standout. remember, worse have been admitted, and better denied!

Thank you for the advice! Would retaking the SAT for a higher math score help me? Also I realized I forgot to mention my SAT IIs: 800 Chem, 790 US, 790 Math II and 750 World from soph year which I dont really want to send

Can I ask you something about my essay in a PM? Would you mind?

no problem. i will look it over. your sat 2 scores are just fine. just send’em all in. they will use the top two.

bump for more opinions/advice =)

Your SAT scores are fine. Anything over 2200 wont hurt you. Make sure your essay is fantastic and you’ll have just as good a shot as anyone else at princeton.

Well not really… Indian Female from NY has a pretty low chance right off the bat. I wouldn’t recommend that you waste your early decision on princeton. Maybe do dartmouth or cornell?

So my race and location are that detrimental to my chances? Now I’m confused with these conflicting comments but if early action raises my chancs in any way I would like to use it. Would that actually significantly raise my chances or are there even more competitive applicants in this round?

Oh I will be doing it through questbridge, I don’t know if that affects anything

last bump! just want a reply to my last question.

Yes, I would think Questbridge would help you! You are a low income student with great stats; that’s impressive to schools, I think. Best of luck to you!

ok thank you all for the input! I’ll prob do questbridge and SCEA(instead of match) since the chances of being matched are so low. Hopefully, I’m not “wasting” my SCEA :(
