Binghamton is probably a stretchy reach, as is Stony Brook. Geneseo doesn’t appear to be as selective as it was when my D was applying (HS class of 2009) but it’s still a reach. That said, there is a SUNY for everybody since there are 64 of them. Check which ones have the major you are interested in and proceed from there. If you are interested in research as a geographer your choice may be different than if you want to teach.
