Is this frowned upon ( EA/ED Question)

As i narrow my list for schools down and start to consider the best way to play early admissions, i am coming to see what schools are fits for me and which ones i feel i would really want to go to

Right now two of these schools are U of Chicago and the other one is Wharton. To be honest, i would rather go to Wharton. I prefer the atmosphere and would rather take the direct business route but that is not to take anything away from chicago.

Is it frowned upon by either school or hurts one chances in any way if i was to do ED Wharton EA U of Chicago, would the schools know? i am pretty sure near positive that this is a common practice but does anyone have insight into how it could affect someone negatively

There is no problem in doing this. The EA at Chicago is unrestricted. The only issue is that if Wharton accepts you ED, you will have to go there.

It is absolutely not frowned upon, and Chicago will not know that you've applied ED anywhere.

Edit: Too late.

thanks to both of you. and patsfan im fully aware of that ( its kind of why i mentioned wharton is my preferred)
