Hey guys, well I'm planning on applying to Wharton ED but want to know if my EC's are good enough. For the past 4 years I've worked at a local hardware shop. My main essay is about the job because it has taken all my time up so I really can't do many other ec's. I'm not really sure what I'm going to write but it is going to include how my job has tAught me to work hardens about the lessons my boss has taught me about business. This summer I am also interning 2 days a week at a private investment firm in NYC. Do you guys think this is enough? Also I have not yet had the chance to take any SAT 2s. If I apply ED will that be fine (right now all I got is a 32 act)

Take the Math II and another subject test in October or November and you will be fine (you should rush the test scores if you take it in November). As far as whether you will get in, Wharton is a reach for ANYBODY.

Talk about what you have learned from your jobs and how they have shaped your outlook. Mention how work has prevented you from other EC’s that you might have otherwise been involved in. One thing you have in your favor, is that most other candidates probably haven’t worked as much as you have.

Yea, I’m sittnig on a 12k bank account and I’m writing about how much I actually enjoy work and how it has taught me not to be the typical american “as my boss calls it” and spend every dime I make on a new car or house so I can impress the other people on my street.

Wait your name is UVAorbust and you’re applying ED to wharton? Wut the bloody hell…
