Is this going to hurt me?

I'm a junior and my school just decided to introduce several new AP classes for next year, but they're all for sophomores/juniors only. I took all the AP classes available to me - which meant, in the past, taking none sophomore year. Colleges will see the AP courses my school has and it will look like I haven't taken most of them. What can I do?
(The school isn't very competitive, so I don't think anyone else in my grade is going to be concerned about this.)

I think that since you’ll be compared to your peers only (class rank) and not to the sophomores and juniors, you should be fine.

Our GPA is never weighted, so my rank and unweighted GPA would be the same whether I took AP courses or not.
I mean, when they look at the classes I took compared to what my school offers, it will look as if I haven’t challenged myself.

In the counselor rec they check off if you took the most rigorous courses available to you, because other than yourself, they would know best if you did or didn’t. So there should be no problem, and it probably won’t affect you.
