Is this going to hurt me?

When i was a freshman and sophomore, my GPA combined was 89. Yes, i know that's very very low.

Now I'm a junior and my GPA would definitely be over 95 (4.0 GPA) by the end of the term. As of first marking period, it's a 93.

Is this going to hurt me badly for the GPA part of the application process for colleges like Stanford, Cornell, and MIT?

No, I do not think this will hurt you.
Matt McGann (MIT) gave an info session in my area and said, "MIT is looking for mostly A's in mostly hard classes."
Plus, adcoms look for grade trends, so they're going to see that maybe freshman year was slightly "low" (and it's really not all that low, really!) but after 9th grade you really kicked it into high gear and achieved. So, good job!

bump...thanks geologistsrock

Also I think rank is important in putting your gpa in context since different numbers mean different things in different schools.

^My school doesn't do rank.

...
just chill out. que sera sera
