Is this good?

Hello everyone,

I was curious to know the depth of truth in what a guidance counselor told me after scrutinizing my transcript, talking with me about my extracurriculars, and someone who knows me well as a person.
They said I would definitely get into said school. They said it three times after thoroughly looking through my scores and transcript.
Is this a good sign. Especially coming from a counselor who has seen hundreds of applications go into these schools and said school.
So, does he really mean it and is it a probable admisssions for me?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Sincerely,
an extremely stressed out senior

It’s very good but it also depends on the “said school”. My conselors say too people that should have a good time getting into hyps but that’s definitely not the truth.

Sounds good.

bump and then i’ll make an additional comment

It is not a bad thing, that is for sure.

Sounds pretty good

Anything else and I’ll post a comment tonight or so

Agree with pieguy. The only people who ever had/will have a good chance of getting into Harvard and other schools like that were/are Natalie Portman, Malia Obama, and Jessica Rosenberg (Harvard president’s daughter). But for most other less competitive schools, it is a good sign.

Okay. Alright. This is a top 30 school.
I understand where pieguy and basketweaver are coming from. It makes complete sense. This is not exactly an Ivy school, but it’s let’s say top 30. But thank you all for the input.
Sincerely,
Stressed senior

It definitely is a good sign but honestly you can’t ask for more comments unless you share with us your scores and the name of the school.
