Is this impressive or ...?

I took AP Physics B as a freshman and got a 90 (B) and a 93 (B+) the second semester. I'm not worried since it was a B, but I feel like I'll be taken as I really wanted to impress the admissions committee but couldn't handle it well. It makes me seem like my parents pressured me into this class. On the other end, those marks are pretty high and especially for a freshman. What do you think? I did not take the exam, however. I did take the SAT Physics test, and scored a 720. Would that make up for the absence of my exam score? I went on vacation in May, which is the last month of school. I couldn't take the exam.

I can’t really get into the mindset of a generic college admissions counselor, but one thing I would check for the colleges you want to apply to if they require the AP test or if they will take the SAT subject test. Many colleges (most?) do not allow you to substitute the SAT for the AP tests or vice-versa so I would just learn the requirements when you are getting ready for applications.
