Ok, so I'm participating in my 3rd year of Robotics Currently. To be honest, this year has been, disappointing. The team I am on was academically disbanded because 3/4 members had F's, I was the only one with solid grades. This also means I didn't compete in one meet this year, but I did mentor our JV team where they got an 8th place finish(Top 1/3 of competition). This in VEX mind you.

The FTC team I was on got pulled off of FTC because we didn't meet deadlines, however we lacked a quality builder/engineer and we were thrown together without any sort of guidance.

Then comes the issue with programming. See I'm in my 3rd year of Robotics(8th, 9th 10th).
All of those years I was a programmer. Even our former coach who retired last year said I was a real good talent.

This past summer, I was a mentor at a camp, and this same coach said I was ready to take on the next platform.

And then this year comes. Our other programmer on our team who is also a sophomore and is good at programming as well, but in all respectful honesty, excluding our senior on the team, I am the best at it. However our robotics coach(Really nothing but a mom of a member on the team, talented member at that), favors him in everything. LabView training which she promised she was include all programmers in, she included him primarily, because her first sophomore attempt was a failure.

It also seems like I can never do anything major correctly. The only positive thing I've ever heard is that I am always one of the first people to volunteer for things.

When I asked what my involvement with the team would be next year, she said Programming Mentor for the JV. Mind you I've been at EVERY MEETING that we needed to be at, except for when we had our AP Exam. Our team only progressed because I was diligent enough, and I still worked hard.

She said I didn't show enough work for FTC, when the person she's putting in as head of Programming has Grade issues, plays games 9/10 times, and goofs off a lot.

Now I might just be crazy, but is there an issue here?
