Hello everybody! I'm an incoming junior with a 3.96 unweighted GPA. I am worried about my schedule for next year because I do NOT want another B (freshman year AP Human... Grr) and I want to have a tolerable stress level. This is my current schedule:

AP Language/Composition
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Chemistry
AP Environmental Science
AP US History
Speech
World Affairs

It may not look too difficult, but I am a two sport varsity athlete, secretary for Key Club, member of NHS and Academic Decatholon, and participate on a competitive club volleyball team. This past semester, I had two AP classes with no study hall, two sports, and a club. I just don't want to crash and burn during junior year. All thoughts and advice are much appreciated. Thank you!

It’s most definitely possible but you have Alot on your plate. Good luck with everything. I’m trying to do something close to impossible as well for my schedule next year.

@kypdurron…you, sir (?) are a ■■■■■. Kindly stop ;)

@snax…how did you handle everything this year? If you think you could do it, then do it…but if you have any doubt, I wouldn’t, as you definitely don’t want to burn out.

Just because I’m bored and feel like making this even more…well:

Hmm… I pulled out a 4.0 easily this year (95s and above in everything), but I was very sleep deprived and wasn’t very happy all the time. I’d love to take all of these classes, but I’m not willing to drop an EC for them. Should I switch AP Lang to Honors English, or should I switch AP Enviroental to Honors Physics? I was planning on talking AP Physics senior year, but I could just take honors as a junior and take AP Environmental as a senior.

^Hey, just take what you can handle…you want to be cranking out a 4.0 or whatever you’re capable of, but don’t be miserable…take Honors and then AP senior year, probably make you happier.

@CE Thanks, but I’ve taken a few APs so far (Human Geo, World History, and Government) so I’m going to definitely take a couple this year. I want to be a psychiatrist one day. (:

@cookie Yes, AP Chem is a ton of work - it’s regarded as either the hardest or second hardest class in my school. AP Environmental has an awesome teacher and is typically called the “easy AP” of our school. AP Lang is brand new next year. Did you take Lang yet? If so, how was the homework load? English is probably my strongest subject.
