is this kinda weird?

This interviewer just called me house for an interview tomororw...but he said he is coming over to my house tomorrow for the interview...is that kinda odd? I mean I really have never heard ppl doing that before...perhaps i'm just overthinking it...

My interview was at my house. It is not as awkward as you might think. Just have your parents leave the room as soon as they introduce themselves.

My daughter's Princeton interview was at our house too. We introduced ourselves and went upstairs. He stayed for about an hour. We felt more comfortable to have him come over to our house than for our daughter to go to interviewer's house. We thought it was strange at first, but we got over it.

I think having the interview at your house IS very weird and very inappropriate.

mine was also at my house. i thought it would be awkward too... but it wasn't too bad.. it's not like the interviewer will inspect your room or anything. of course, i definitely would have preferred a coffee shop or something, but it turned out okay. good luck with yours :D

apparently according to the interviewer packet for pton (my mom interveiws for pton) its more inappropriate to interveiw at the interveiwers house than the interveiw-ees house.

A good place to interview would be a place such as Starbucks. Also, most public libraries have rooms that could probably be used for interviewing.

I thought it weird when my daughter had to go to an interviewer's house. (not Princeton.) Her interveiw with Princeton is today, at Starbucks. Guess it's a pretty safe norm
