Is this list diversified enough?

Okay so I think I have narrowed my college choices to 9 schools. However, I am worried if I am reaching too high and do not have a good mix of safeties, matches, and reache. Can you tell if my list is realistic?

Schools: (Live in IL)

ACT: 34
SAT 2'S: WILL TAKE ON THE OCT. 14
US History
Math IIC
Literature

Courseload: I have taken the hardest courseload out of anyone in my class. I know, its not 245 AP's (all with 5's lol) like other students on this site but nonetheless it is the hardest one taken in my class.

By end of high school: 9 AP'S: AP US (5), AP EURO, CALC AB (5)
Senior year: AP ECON (MACRO/MICRO), AP PHYSICS C, AP SPANISH,
AP ENGLISH, AP GOV/POL

Besides AP, all honors courses with the exception of required electives and a couple I chose to take (intro to business, career expo, basically time wasting crap....)

didnt take the euro test (confidence lacking, bad teacher got pulled into taking on the class after regular teacher bailed)

EC's:

sorry...4got to mention 1st gen. Ind (both parents never made it out of high school) and i go to a public school

as long as you would be happy at either safety (you'll get into Ill and DePaul), youre list is fine

Wharton is a huge reach without ECs to support it, Duke, UNC, Northwestern are reaches, the rest a reasonable shot.

does it help that im national merit commended?

Duke is a slight reach. Write excellent essays and you have a good shot. Your class rank, ACT score, ecs, and GPA are all in Duke's range. Northwestern and UNC are matches/slight reaches.

I agree with the poster that said lack of EC's will kill you. In fact, Wharton is so odd with their admissions; it's as if they let EC's compensate for huge discrepencies in GPA. (one of my fiends got in with a 3.6 and great EC's)

wat do u mean by "kill me" does that apply to just wharton or does that apply to a lot more of my list

i don't mean you're out of the running, and yes just for wharton.
