Is this LOR okay?

This is probably a silly question, but I want to make sure I’m doing everything the right way:

I am applying for an internship that requires a hard copy of a LOR “from an academic and on the institution’s letterhead.”

My professor wants to pick up the stationery, write the letter, scan it, upload it to me, and have me print it to send.

Is that acceptable, or does it need to be printed ON the letterhead? (My concern is that the stationery may be like card stock paper and if I print it, it’ll be on regular paper and might not seem authentic?)

It’s probably ok, but usually places prefer to receive LORs directly from the recommenders.

Well, in this case, it specifically asks for me to send the LORs in one package along with my other application materials (resume, CL), so do you think it’s okay in that case?

Any thoughts?

It’s probably fine. If they didn’t request that the recommender send it directly or expect that you would waive your rights to see it (as many schools do – employers not so much), you should be fine.
