I've been noticing this a lot lately. I'll read a paper at noon, and by 4 I'll forget what it was about. It happens with conversations too - I'll talk with someone for hours, but at the end I'll only remember a few things that were said. It's like my mind doesn't process what I've read/heard. I'm trying to figure out if this is normal or if my psych meds are screwing me over.

Also, today I was reading a book and I forgot what was on the previous page. Does anyone else do this?

Were you thinking of something else while reading? If so, then it’s understandable. But if you’re focused on reading and still forget, then there’s something wrong.

Yeah, I oftentimes will begin thinking of something else while reading, and I’ll notice after a few seconds that my eyes just went halfway down the page without grasping anything. But. If I focus on reading and let the outside world go, I will remember the consequential details…

Try hurting or pleasuring yourself while in situations of which you would like to remember the details for a long time. Studies show that memory is enhanced during times of great emotional/ physical excitement (positive or negative).
