sadly, i don't get along with korean people. they curse at me and ignore me because I hang out with "whites." Even though I've only been in the us for 4 years, my english is very good. I have the highest grade in AP eng 11 right now. Anyway... yea I know all that stuff counts but I was just heartbroken looking at my GPA and the fact that it doesn't show upper trend. However I'm going to let my counselor do her job and explain my gpa to adcoms.

thanks for your reply!
I'm enjoying spring break quite nicely... lol

I don't see why you are worried about ur GPA. By looking at yours, it looks solid enough for me to get into IVY league schools. Just do well in SATs (including SAT I and SAT II) and keep up the good work (and just try to boost your grades where you got B if you can). I also think your ECs are solid, or in other words, quite good considering that you are doing activities that are related to your interests.

I have enjoyed my spring break too much :( Now I am cramming my hw and other work). I also have IB exams coming up!! I don't feel like to study for them, since I got into college

Biggest questions: what's your psat score and and AP scores. Financial need will be a big issue at many schools if you don't have a green card, and your chances will be very different if you are a citizen or not.

cool! I have AP exams coming up as well...
what college did you get into?

BTW, I'm not like Ivy freak like other koreans are.
I'm prob. going to apply early for Princeton but since Princeton's early is binding, I only can apply there. I was just worried. that's all..

I just got into Cornell, and got rejected by other ivies except by columbia, where I got waitlisted. Then I dunno if Cornell is prestigious enough for typical Koreans :) I visited there, and I loved it, so I will not go to Columbia even if I get in there
