<p>I got my acceptance letter today from a branch campus (Altoona) after waiting since September. It was a bit of a disappointment but I'm still thankful for it, since you can always transfer to UP after 2 years. However, I was wondering if there was still a chance to get into UP if I'm interested in taking summer classes. When I applied I didn't mark that I wanted to do summer, but I am willing to now if it would allow me to go to the main campus. My heart was at Penn State UP and I'm willing to work hard all summer if it isn't too late. Does anyone know if this is possible?</p>
<p>I would recommend calling them to see, or e-mail them. I’ve found admissions to be speedy and helpful.</p>
<p>I am pretty sure they would of offered this to you if it was a possibility. I was in the same boat, and they stated that 60% of students start out on other campuses. Call though, they are very helpful, and will give you an answer tight away.</p>
