is this possible

well unfortunately i took the sat without any sort of preparation at all, and i got a subpar score of 1680.

cr:420
math:680
reading:580

and i want to increase that score to 2100 (math being 750-800). im taking my second test this oct 7th.

these are the books i have:
CC blue book 2nd edition
barrons writing workbook
Mcgraw hills 12 practice tests & sat guide 2011
grubbers sat guide 2009
and princeton review set (guide, 12 Practice tests, 500 flashcards)

can i pull it off?? if yea, please help me how! :( i have 1 more month of nothing-to-do but studying for this, so i will spend hours a day if that's what it takes.

Only month… You can definitely improve your Math and Writing scores but CR is not that easy. It takes time and you don’t have it… CR improving is not impossible, but the change won’t be significant.

Learn your vocabulary every day.
Start with reading the guides. You need to know what SAT is testing and they will help you to understand that. Since you don’t have so much time, reading all 3 might be redundant. Definitely read McGraw Hill’s guide for understanding the Writing section. Gruber’s for Math. And for CR I would suggest Barron’s “Aiming for the perfect score” but since you don’t have, read the advises from this forum.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/750399-how-attack-sat-critical-reading-section-effectively.html

Read College Board’s guide.

Then dive into tests. Be aware that McGraw Hill’s and Princeton’s tests won’t give you the accurate scores because their difficulty level differs from College Board’s. Since you have only 1 month left then the best would be to go through College Board’s tests. If you decide you want to try the other tests then do them first and leave College Board’s for the last.

After every single practice test, review carefully. It is the most important part which teaches you. You learn from careful review! DO NOT just see the correct choices and move on. Try to understand why you made those mistakes and what you need to know the next time to avoid them. Especially for the Math and Writing it is easy to determine what was the key point you had to know to solve the question effectively and quickly. Always make sure you learn those key points for the future.

If you find it hard to analyze your mistakes effectively, then you can write me a PM with the list of your mistakes and I will do my best to guide you to the right way (for the College Board tests and McGraw Hill’s 12 practice tests and the guide).

Get ready for the hard work!

Look up sparknotes com for Writing section. I heard it is very helpful.
