Is this possible?

My parents are indian, so I am going to get screwed over by the corrupt college admissions process. My grandfather was born in Africa and my dad grew up there. Can I put African American? I know I’m not AA but being an Indian is an unfair weight against anyone because colleges don’t want any more of my kind.

I’m pretty sure the question is optional? Wouldn’t not answering it be better than lying?

African is defined as origins in sub-Saharan Africa.

Personally, before calling things corrupt (how would you know, just hearsay?,) I might do a little more research, be better informed. You’ll need that for successful applications.

Not to mention, you want to deal with what you think is corrupt by pulling a fast one of your own? Sigh.

Take a look at the Common App. See the format.

The most serious roadblock you have between you and your desire for an Ivy and med school is your 26 ACT. Have you taken the PSAT or do you take that next year as a junior?

@austinmshauri I will take the ACT and PSAT next year as a junior. As I’ve been practicing the score has been going up; in retrospect, taking it as a freshman was a good idea, since I know what to study.
