<p>i applied to HSS and MCS and was accepted to both. I would like to graduate with some combination of business comp sci or computational finance- yes i plan on transferring ASAP.</p>

<p>because i am in HSS for my first year.. will it be able for me to pull off a double major with any of those 3 or even a major and a minor in one and if so which would be the likeliest combination.</p>

<p>i have a natural talent with computers and plan to dedicate the next 4 years of my life to studying so its just a matter of whats possible in the time i have</p>

<p>Since you're in HSS you should look into a primary major in IS. Check out <a href="http://www.cmu.edu/esg-cat/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.cmu.edu/esg-cat/&lt;/a> and go to H&SS, Interdepartmental Majors. It is kind of like 'business comp sci.' You could do computational finance as a second major. If nothing else, saying you intended an IS major would get you more into the classes you're interested in.</p>
