I signed up for the SAT1 in may, but want to postpone it to june. Luckily I heard you can easily do this paying a small fee. However this is not the problem. I want to take two SAT2 subject tests specifically USH and chem and maybe korean. Can I sign up as stand-by and take it?

last june, i signed up for writing .. but, the day of the test i took the SAts instead of SAT2s. Collegeboard sent me a bill later on .. it was like 19 dollars or somehting. make sure, that they still have the same policy. different test centers might have different policies.

bump .........

I believe you can take any SAT IIs as standby EXCEPT the language tests with listening. Of course, there's no guarantee that you'll get in. To increase your chances, get to the test site early, and if possible, take try standby at your own school. Though they're not supposed to, your school might give its own students a little preference...

just to add on to PeteSAT's comment, SAT 2 language tests with listening are only offered once a year (november, I think), so you can only do stand-by on that date.

How do you postpone your SAT1 exam?

Give the CB a call - it's $19

Should I register for the June SAT I if I registered for the May SAT 1 and want to postpone it? The registration deadline is 11:59 today.

I don't think there is Korean for June

For SATSII in Standby, how do you do this? Does it cost a late fee?

i switched from an sat2 to the I's last october-- i called someone from college board and i think in order to have your name on the official list you have to call ~2.5 weeks before the test, but she said that i could still change if i showed up early, and they would guarantee to let me into the test before all of the walk-ins. she told me to bring ~$18 check but the place where i was testing didn't want it- college board billed me later on. you should sign up for the june sat seperately, but if you missed the deadline i'm sure if you call collegeboard they will help you out-- just explain the situation.
