Is this resume fodder?

I was recently invited by my college (my current college, not RIT) to speak on a panel of "Successful Students." My boss, I'm a math tutor, also wants me to be a part of a second panel discussing how tutoring help students become more successful. I believe this is some sort of orientation event. I'll be paid for part of it.

Does this sound like something worth sticking on my resume?

Why not? Make yourself out to be one of x students chosen to represent the college to prospective students. Maybe spin it as developing your sales skills as well. It all depends on the position you’re applying to.

I puffed my resume with fodder in its early days, now that I’ve got meaningful stuff, I keep it clean and relevant as possible.
