Alright, a little background about me: I'm looking to get into the medical field, become an MD, be neurosurgeon. That's not too relevant, as right now I just want to get my AA in Biology or Chemistry. I'm in Washington state, and I -hope- to attend UW. My grades started out my freshman year of high school at about 3.0 (garbage, I know) and now "I'm illustrating a positive grade trend", averaging out a 3.45 or so going into my junior year (ergo, need to make at MINIMUM 3.8 these next two years). In WA, we have the running start program, high-schoolers get to take community college classes for free in their last two years of high school if they so choose.

Now, I'm not asking anyone to chance me on admissions. What I AM asking is if the schedule I have set out is possible to pull at a CC while maintaining 3.8 GPA. In order to get my AA before my free ride drops me off and I have to apply to UW, I'd have to take 4 classes each quarter but the current one, along with two classes in the summer quarter. AND, it looks as if the easiest class I'd be taking would be Spanish. The bulk of my courses would be a mixture of calc, chem (including organic chem), and bio classes (including anatomy and physiology).

I realize that everyone's capabilities are different, and everyone can handle different amounts of work and stress. I also realize that my chosen field is one in which stress is inevitable, in the schooling, training, and work. What I want to know is:
A) Based on YOUR experiences and observations, is it possible for someone to pull off this sort of schedule?
B) Would you yourself be able to work this sort of schedule?

Thanks, I really don't know what kind of workload these courses may bring, so it'd really help me out if someone with more experience weighed in.
