Is this schedule too ambitious for a freshman?

Hello all,
I will be a freshman at stern next year, and I was looking at the required classes, and came up with this schedule. Is this too ambitious for someone who will also be joining a club or two, as well as trying to [and maybe suceeding in] finding a job or work study and party?

Freshman Cohort Leadership group [not a formal class]
General Physics I
Calculus II
Conversations on the Wst-Animal Humans
Microeconomics
Writing the Essay

For some odd reason, I may be wrong, but it looked like I had to take a science course in conjunction with the Con west course, and this schedule is assuming that I am right. If I am wrong, Physics will be stricken. How would that courseload fair with the activities I listed above. Also, I might take an introductory neurology course instead of physics, so im not sure how it will change the difficulty of my schedule.

Writing the Essay is a huge huge huge time suck.

So, you’re taking five actual classes, and you’re asking if it’s going to take up a lot of time?

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: Do those classes even all fit within the 18-credit limit for each semester? Because if not, then you’re going to be paying for those extra credits. I’d suggest moving WTE to the spring so you’re not spending your entire week doing the WTE writing assignments AND reading all the required ConWest books.

Where do you find the required classes for freshman at Stern?

yeah, move WtE for spring. every credit over 18 you pay for out of pocket, financial aid will NOT apply to those credits. don’t kill yourself first semester, you have four years here.
