Is this schedule too tough?

Schedulizer: Fall '10

That's my schedule up there....
I want to have a social life as well, since friends are important and esp. college friends go a long way. With 16 academic credit hours, how much time per week would I have to devote to studying?

Did anybody take any of these classes? If so plz tell me how it was.

Thanks!

i’d say the problem might come from your practice/performances with the orchestra…

your FWS is probably not the easiest either…esp if you’ve never read any of those guys…

I think it’s fine… the only really tough thing is the fact that you’re taking Chinese, which is 6 credits. Usually I recommend people start with 5 courses and drop one if really necessary, but this schedule looks busy enough with just 4.

Hey, I took Chinese this past year and the 6 credits is deceiving. All it really means is that you’re in CLASS a lot, but the workload outside the class is no more intense than your typical 3-4 credit course, if that. You’ll learn a ton, though.

If that’s true, then, depending on how ambitious you are, you may want to add another class. It’ll help later when you can just chill or spend more time on non-class requirements.

If you’re just going for a single major without any big other commitments you can foresee later, you’ll be fine.
