Is this score "good" for first time?

im a junior and this was my first SAT
im just wondering, is this score "good" for like penn, dartmouth, columbia, bc, gtown, etc (schools im interested in)

im taking an SAT course as well so i plan to raise it

i just took it so these are projected
M 740
CR 670
W 750

You want to shoot for better than a 2250 for those schools, which you're a little above.

Randwulf, learn to add?
That is a score of 2160

That's an excellent score, even if it weren't your first time. :)

For the schools you're looking at, though, a 2200+ is better. But that's easily attainable if you get around a 2100 on your first try.

I'd try to raise the CR score a bit more... colleges look at CR+M more than your score out of 2400

Yeah, I agree with the other posts. Good for the first shot, but you definitely need each section to be over 700 if you don't want your SATs to hinder rather than help you on ivy league apps.
