<p>I am interested in going back to school for accounting, but not sure if that's what I want to do as I am turning 27.</p>
<p>I have 5 years of working experience at banks, collections and an insurance firm doing underwriting, following rules and regulations, monthly billing review with clients, cash transactions, payment processing and calling debtors regarding delinquent accounts. Each month I also get audited for my work by my supervisor, which I do not like. </p>
<p>Based on my limited working history, is it similar to what an accountant would be doing?</p>
