is this suicide?

I am currently on the path at UCLA to be in BizEcon. I want to also major in math...is that really goign to be hard to do. I mean instead of taking the regular 3 courses a quarter to complete BizEcon, how many more wold i take to satisfy my math major...4 to 5?

Why not just major in MathEcon?

BizEcon more prestigious than just Econ.

more prestigious? In the end, it's all the same shizz

if you do well in either major, you can still get a kickass job and degree.

haha. bizecon is not an MBA.

it ain't 'prestigious'. it seems it only gives you bragging rights among your fellow classmates.... if you're the cocky type.

keng, what do you want to do after college? most who are majoring in bizecon are planning to get a business job after college. they could care less about academics. there's really no advantage in doubling in math (unless you go into a math intensive business field but even then it's not that tough math). most bizecon majors would rather spend their time on a part-time job or internship.

I see what you mean. Personally, its just I don't mind to do math its always been slightly easier for me. So in a way I figure, why not take it... and boost my standing when it comes to colleges. So it's wiser to take on an internship instead? Because I was going do internships during the summer...yeah. Keep the comments coming guys... thanks.
