<p>lol um swamp...don't know what to tell you. I'd explain it, don't make any excuses, but yeah, you better hope your teachers write some kick ass recs.</p>
<p>Err.. there's really no 'explanation.' My friends and I just acted stupidly. I guess I could have my counselor and teacher talk about it in their recommendations, but I still don't know how they could make it look any better than giving them the facts. </p>
<p>Well, my grades and standardized test scores are exceptional, but that doesn't show adcoms that I'm not the person characterized by those stupid things that I did. </p>
<p>Also, what exactly do the adcoms see, regarding the suspension and the circumstances? Does the school send them their record (my permanent record) on it? Or does the counselor write something up telling the adcoms everything that happened?</p>
<p>it really depends on the school. Some schools include it in your transcript while others don't, but counselors have to write a recommendation for you and there's a section that includes disciplinary behavior so...unless you can now either get it sealed, lie and forge the recommendation, tell the truth or apply to colleges that don't ask for this info namely the UCs (these are pretty much my options too ;)</p>
