Is this technically and upward trend?

I received a 4.0 GPA Freshman year (4 Honors, 3 Standards)
Sophomore year i received 2 Bs (6 honors, 2 standards (took a summer class))
Junior year i received 1 B (5 APs, 2 honors)

Will this technically count as a steady trend or an upward trend? A bit confused about that part.

It depends on what your GPA is. If each year, the number increases, it is an upward trend.

Sounds like you’re holding steady. I think you’re taking upward trend too literally.

You are holding steady with a pretty high GPA. That’s better than an upward trend, because you weren’t low to begin with. You’re fine.

You’re straw grasping. Take what @rebeccar said: you’re taking it too literally. You have 3 Bs in 3 years. You’re

fine.

General rule - If you have to use the word “technically”, the answer is not what you want it to be. Unless your goal is to go to law school, where you get to use that word all the time when arguing for the defense.

2 B’s in one year might be a lot…but I agree with above posters, your GPA is an upward trend since your course rigor was increasing.
