Is this the right path?

Hello, I am currently attending community college in California majoring in plant biology. I am in the process of deciding whether I want to go to a CSU or a UC, I plan on definitely pursuing a PhD after I get my bachelors degree so here is the question.

For some on in my situation will transferring to a CSU For my bachelors degree put me at a grave disadvantage when applying to a schools doctorate program? Do I need to get my bachelors degree from a UC if I want to stand a chance getting into a good PhD program like UCLA, UCB, UCI etc...

Thanks in advance for the help.

no definitely not, though i don’t quite understand the question.

if you mean will it be hard to get into a good PhD program because you went to a CC, no because if you transfer they won’t even see it on your transcript. it would just say which ever College you transferred to.

if you mean it’s hard to transfer, people from CCs transfer to harvard every year.

if you mean it’ll be hard to get into a good PhD program because you transferred into a bad college, look at #2.
