Is this the schedule of dreams!!!

I'm a bio science major and was wondering if this schedule was doable and considered an average work load for a freshman.

Chem 3A (3 units)
Chem 3AL (2 units)
South Asian R5B (4 units)
ESPM 50AC (4 units)
Seminar or Environmental Science 10 (4 units)

I am conflicted because 14 units seem easy, however 17 units seem so daunting.

i think it's doable.
im trying to do. chem 3a, 3al, scanr5b, nst11, math 16a and psych 2

17 units is not as daunting as it may seem. Within the semester unit cap, anything is possible provided that you are disciplined. As an extreme example, I know someone who is taking 29 units of EECS/econ while working 20hrs/wk right now.

Thanks for the feedback, however spots for 3AL filled like murder (even the wait list is almost full) so I think I might not get into lab (# 12 on wait list for a lab). I guess I should just take the 3 unit Chem 3A and the three 4-unit courses. How could they screw over so many science people by forcing half to not be able to enroll in lab. I hope they make room.
