AP English Lang. and Comp. (3 hrs. per week)
AP Macro/Microeconomics (2-3 hrs. per week)
AP Calculus AB (nightly- any estimates?)
AP Physics B (nightly-any estimates?)
AP Chemistry (5-7 hrs. per week)
Spanish III (1-1.5 hrs. per week)

These homework numbers are on a WEEKLY basis!!!

I know this is a lot of AP courses. The only thing I am worried about is handling it all, especially Junior year.
What do you think? Is this too much homework? Also, what are your estimates on weekly homework for AP Calc. AB and AP Physics B?

These weekly homework numbers are done by the techer of the AP course.
They also include estimated study time.

Sorry for reposting!!

It seems like you shouldn’t do all this because considering how many posts you made, you’re too worried about it. Without Physics and Calc, you already have a maximum of 3 1/2 hours of HW every night. That could be about 5 hours nightly, which is doable, but hard.

You don’t seem to be content with many of the answers posted here either. What answer are you expecting/hoping to get?

If these estimates are true then you should not consider this schedule. However I have a feeling that these estimates are a little off…

nicetomeetyou- I post so many times about the same thing because it seems as though no one ever answers the actual question I am asking. They just comment on different things. For example: I asked what the homework estimates were for AP Calc AB and AP Physics B and if it is too much homework. And so far, of the two replies, I have not even got one answer to either of them. This seems to happen a lot with me. I will admit though that I am a bit obbsessive, it is just part of my personality, I personally wish that I wasn’t, but it is.

**You, however, did answer one of my questions, so thank you. But, did you even read the typical weekly hours spent on homework; these were done by the teacher. My school dosen’t give a lot of HW, I guess. I talked to someone who has taken 4 of these 5 AP courses, he said he hardly ever gets HW.

Actually looking back this schedule is doable-I didn’t read that it is by weeks, my bad.

I have all that but instead of Cal BC , I got Cal AB and I have football on top of that so if I can do it so can you ha

Well I kind of took your estimates and divided them by 5, then added the nightly HW up. I’ve also never done Calc or Physics, so idk about that part.

Now that you mention it though, I started planning out my schedule for this junior year since 3 days into sophomore. I guess I obsess over schedules too :P

It kind of varies based on the school. For example, at my school, those would be the HW estimated, but we would never get that much HW. Those classes might add up to like 2-3 hours of HW a night, and it really isn’t that bad. I can only speak for Calc, Spanish, and Eng though in terms of what I have taken. All of them really didn’t give much HW. I took Physics A last year with those three and that was very similar in terms of workload. Then again, thats my school. Pretty much, if you enjoy a subject/class, it really doesn’t feel like it takes that long.
